• Usage Data: Data about how you use BiasharaOS, including interactions with our CRM, AI-driven customer service, and Tangaza.ai marketing tools.

• Device and Technical Data: IP addresses, device identifiers, and analytics data collected when you access our platform or WhatsApp services.

• Financial Data: Payment details for BiasharaOS subscriptions, processed securely via third-party payment providers.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use personal data to:

• Provide and improve BiasharaOS services, including CRM, automated workflows, and AI-driven marketing.

• Facilitate communication between you and your customers via WhatsApp, powered by the WhatsApp Business API.

• Generate culturally relevant marketing campaigns through Tangaza.ai.

• Analyze usage to enhance platform performance and provide data-driven insights.

• Comply with legal obligations under the PDPA and other applicable laws.

3. How We Share Your Information

We share personal data only in the following cases:

• With Meta: To enable WhatsApp Business API functionality, we share necessary data with Meta, subject to their Data Processing Terms.

• Personal data is stored securely on servers located in AWS servers in the EU.

• We use industry-standard encryption (e.g., TLS, SSL) to protect data during transmission and storage.

• Data is retained only for as long as necessary to provide BiasharaOS services or comply with legal requirements. After this period, data is securely deleted or anonymized.

5. Your Rights

Under Tanzania’s PDPA, you have the following rights:

• Access: Request a copy of your personal data.

• Correction: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.

• Deletion: Request deletion of your data (see Section 6 below).

• Objection: Object to data processing for specific purposes, such as direct marketing.

6. User Data Deletion

To request deletion of your personal data or your customers’ data:

• We will verify your identity and process the request within 30 days, as required by the PDPA.

• Data will be deleted unless required for legal compliance (e.g., tax records) or ongoing service provision.

• Note: Deleting your BiasharaOS account may affect your ability to use our services.

7. Cross-Border Data Transfers

Personal data may be transferred outside Tanzania (e.g., to Meta’s servers or our cloud providers) only if:

• The recipient country has adequate data protection standards, as determined by the Personal Data Protection Commission.

• We have your explicit consent, or the transfer is necessary for service delivery. We ensure compliance with PDPA’s cross-border transfer rules.
